"Mercy" chosen BEST OF BREED at the 2013 Westminster Dog show in New York! What a thrill for a breeder! This amazing dog is from Ruthann's very first litter! I would say she did a fantastic job at choosing a stud dog to compliment the foundation bitch I sold her, "Christy".

NOAA Ambassadors come in all shapes and sizes! Nikita the Keeshond had the honor of being the first Canine NOAA Ambassador. Nikita was a certified
K-9 Caring Angel Therapy Dog with several titles and certifications including Elite and Distinguished Therapy Dog. Her owner, Kenneth Vierra, brought her to many events, including 2022 NOAA Research re-connect gatherings in Silver Spring, MD. Nikita's presence supported NOAA's mission by providing comfort to our workforce. Sadly, Nikita passed away in December 2022, but she touched the lives of many inside and outside of NOAA, serving veterans and our community.
(10/20/2023) Ken was just notified that the AKC granted Nikita the highest Therapy Dog Certification honor posthumously for her lifetime of service, "Therapy Dog supreme!"
We thank her for her service!
